Double-Weave Workshop - The Basics

Join us to learn the basics of double-weave - a fun technique that opens up a world of weaving possibilities! Working on pre-warped table looms, participants will learn how to weave two layers of cloth at once, weave one layer of cloth twice the width of their loom, weave a cylinder of cloth on the loom, weave baffled cloth, and more. In addition to the woven samples, participants will take home handouts to help plan future double-weave projects. 

The workshop runs from 10AM to 5PM on Saturday, January 21st (there will be a break for lunch). All materials are included. If you would like to use your own loom for the workshop, contact us for a $50 discount. 

While no prior weaving experience is required, it will be helpful to understand the terminology. You are always welcome to take an introductory weaving course with us before the workshop, just contact us to arrange a day/time.
