This kit contains everything you need to participate in the Acton Creative April Weave Along:

• 800 yds 8/4 unmercerized cotton (white)
• 800 yds 8/4 unmercerized cotton (pear)
• 800 yds 8/4 unmercerized cotton (duck green)
• 800 yds 8/4 unmercerized cotton (blue)
• pattern (which will be sent via email after purchase)

The Acton Creative Weave Along is a month-long weaving adventure that has just 2 guidelines - everybody will start and finish a project in the month of April, and we all use the same pattern - in this case, it's the classic log cabin! If the concept of planning, starting, and completing your own project in 1 month sounds completely daunting, no worries! Chris Acton has developed a log cabin project and kit, custom-made for any beginning weaver. The kit includes 4 colors of cotton rug warp yarn, and instructions on how to weave a set of 2 fingertip towels. The bonus for this special pattern is that it can easily be completed on a rigid heddle loom, as well as a 4-shaft!

This purchase includes both yarn, and the pattern with instructions (which will be sent to via email). To complete the project, we recommend that you have the following things - a loom, 2 shuttles, and a way to measure your yarn (like a warping board). Access to a sewing machine and basic knowledge of sewing is helpful, but not required.

All Weave Along participants are invited to join the April Weave Along Facebook Group community (open during April 2022). This is a place to ask questions, showcase your progress, and connect with fellow weavers. The goal is to come together with other fiber friends, learn a few new things, and get weaving!

Of course, if you want to purchase the kit after April, you are more than welcome do so. The Facebook group, however, will not be available.
