Floor Loom Classes

Floor Looms may be used to make anything from rugs to fine fabrics. These are large looms that the weaver operates using both hands and feet. We have a large variety of floor looms in the studio, and endeavor to match the student to looms that fit the students body type and personality.

    • Students will complete a rug, hand towel or a cowl during the class (approximately 36 inches by 18-12 inches, depending on the chosen project). Materials (cotton yarn warp and weft) will be provided. Class will be on looms pre-warped with 8/4 cotton. Students are welcome to use a material other than cotton for weft, but they must provide it (or purchase it at the time of the class).
