Tencel

Tencel is the name for fiber made from eucalyptus tree pulp using an ecologically sound rayon process. This cellulose fiber is friendly to the environment - it is made with a closed loop cycle, meaning that the majority of the chemicals used in the process are recycled, as opposed to being dumped into the environment. Tencel is a beautiful rayon, with silky drape and comfortable feel. Fabric made from Tencel tends to wick moisture away from the skin, similar to most cellulose (made from plants) fiber.
