Weaving with Color - Round Robin Class with Chris Acton
Weaving with Color Round Robin Class
Join us for an intensive 3-day weaving class (April 13-15) where we'll explore the world of color! Each weaver will dress a loom with a pre-determined set of colors during class, so we can review the process of dressing a loom. Then, once the looms are ready, students will rotate through each loom, weaving a variety of colors and textures. The goal is to explore how colors interact in handwoven fabric, but do it in a way that feels fun and experimental.
If you are a beginning weaver, it is recommended that you have taken a dressing a loom class with Chris Acton beforehand because that is the system she'll be teaching. However, if you are confident in your skills concerning dressing a loom, you are welcome to join us no matter your method.
Please let us know if you have a loom to bring with you. Otherwise, one will be provided in the class. All other materials will be provided. The cost is $360 for the 3-day workshop. Each day will run from 9-4, with a hour-long lunch break.
